Our Origins

I remember when I was just a lad in high school. Every day (nearly) someone would ask, "What do you want to do when you get out of here?" My answer was always "I don't know." Well, I've prayed about it for years, and things just didn't seem to work. I would try this idea, investigate that idea, contemplate the other idea, but nothing clicked. Until one day, as I was in my usual prayer time, the Spirit said to me, "It is I that has given you the power to get wealth. I have promised that I would prosper anything you set your hand to." Now, I remember reading those scriptures and hearing them over and over, but I never really had a revelation like that about them. So it was time. But time for what?

All Anew

With all that thought and prayer going on, I had made up in my mind that I wanted to own my own business. I desired with all the fervor within myself to work for me, and not, 'the man;' to line my own pockets and not someone else's all the time. Unfortunately, it wasn't that easy. As time went on, I tried Real Estate Investment, Writing, an Errand Service . . . you name it, it was probably on my list of ideas. My problem: none of them were crystallized in my mind enough to get me motivated (yes, I'm a procrastinator).

So why Premier Home Accessories?

One day, I happened to need some hair gel, shampoo, and notebook paper, so I decided to make a trip to the Dollar General Store™. When I did, I noticed all the nice things that they had stocked via their latest shipment of merchandise. There were angel figurines, vases, candles, and a plethora of other items. That's when I started collecting angels. Throughout the years of collecting, I've seen some odd ones and some sets of them come and go. And, because of that, I decided I'd love to open a shop of nothing but angel figurines. So, to crystallize the idea, I wrote a business plan. (That particular plan had been stored, untouched, until recently.) It was a major undertaking at my young age of 17, but it happened. As the last word was typed, I remember thinking: "Sure, another great idea that will come to nought." And it did (for years). But, when I saw this advertisement of a discount wholesale supplier (who also allows orders of smaller quantities), the business plan sprang to mind again. As I revised it (innumerable times), the thought popped into my head: "Why just offer angel stuff? Why not offer all the things I saw in the flea markets and some mail order catalogs? As a matter of fact, why not go into mail order?" And so we were born. (And with name change after name change after name change, we arrived at Premier Home Accessories.)

Our Goals

Just in case you're wondering: yes, we defined specific goals as we set out on this little venture. Our top priority: the customer. The fact is, that old adage, "The customer's always right," has been thrown out the window (along with other important factors of a life well-lived). But Premier Home Accessories and I thrive on that old adage. Whether humanity wants to believe it or not, it is still the truth. Especially when it comes to the customers money, the customer is most definitely right. We know you want the biggest bang for your buck, and that's where we come in. We provide (via low overhead and minimal expenses) the opportunity for your dollar to go the farthest towards accessorizing your home. After all, that's why you were out there searching the web, right? To find the lowest price for the highest quality merchandise? Of course. And with Premier, the ideas are limited only by your imagination.
